We usually turn it down by 50 degrees vs. It does a decent job toasting bread and bagels every morning. We bought this toaster oven to replace a 16 year old Hamilton Beach that we got a wedding gift. what we would use on a regular oven.Now with that said, we are pleased with what we got for the money. We frequently use the oven feature for small meals (pizza slice, spanakopita, re-heating leftovers, etc). It does a decent job, but will quickly burn if you rely on the temperature settings of the oven - not very accurate. So much so that we bought the same exact unit for our RV. It takes up very little counter space which is at a premium in campers.
The oven works just fine but the up top toaster does not work well. Small food like frozen waffles slide down to the oven. Irritating.
The fact that it will do frozen items is a huge time-saver and a great aspect of this little multi-tasker.The only complaint I have is very minor: if you want to pop toast out early, there's no way to raise the lever like on many toasters. We use it at least a few times a week. We have had Toastation for over a year, and have yet to have any problems with it. Your only option is to unplug the machine. It works like a charm as both a toaster (including bagels) and a toaster oven. We frequently use it to cook frozen items (such as chicken breasts or fish filets) and use it to toast regular as well as frozen bread and bagels. Other than that, I'm a happy camper. I would definitely recommend this product.
It would be helpful if the door would actually come off to allow for better cleaning.Over all I would say this a fine toaster. When trying to manually eject the toast, it is quite difficult but if you have your "darkness level" set correctly, it shouldn't be a problem.4.
Finally the price dropped enough and I got it. I have been wanting this toaster for a couple months.

It toasts well and the oven function is great.2. The door is a bit hard to clean.
Let's face it, it is a toaster, not a computer.
the hampton beach toaster oven is to small to work very good. the toaster part work good but the oven is to small.
